Thassos
Thassos is a Greek island leaning towards the Slavic countries, with an interesting mix of cultures, low prices, lush vegetation and a beautiful sea.
The islands of the Aegean Sea are five large islands scattered near the west coast of Turkey that together with a dozen of small and charming islets, form an archipelago, but more for administrative reasons than physical. Their proximity to Asia Minor has often marked their history and left indelible signs in their architecture, society, gastronomy and traditions.
These islands are Samos, Lesvos, Limnos, Icaria and Chios, not forgetting Agios Efstratios, and they offer unique and enchanting landscapes, especially when it comes to beaches.
Moreover, in the extreme north, a few kilometers from the mainland coast, there are the islands of Thassos and Samothrace, which administratively are part of the region of Thrace.
