The island of Paros has dozens and dozens of picturesque beaches washed by a clear blue sea, making it an ideal destination for those who want a sun and beach vacation. The beaches of Paros are generally sandy and invite idleness and relaxation: the sand, which is very fine, is sometimes golden and sometimes very white, while the seabed is generally shallow and therefore suitable even for inexperienced swimmers.
There is no shortage of wild, sandy beaches mixed with rocks, and beaches buffeted by strong winds that will delight surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers. Nightlife lovers will find some beaches with bars and clubs open late.

Kolimbrites (or Kolybithres) is probably the most famous beach on Paros. Its notoriety is due to peculiar granite rocks that, sculpted by wind and waves, have taken on distinctive shapes and are one of the most photographed subjects on the entire island!

It is an equipped beach six kilometers from Naoussa where events are often held that turn it into a kind of open-air theater. The seabed is shallow and the sea calm, so it is also perfect for those traveling with young children.

Golden Beach and nearby Golden Beach New(Tserdakia) are the beaches on Paros best suited for surfing and windsurfing. International champions gather here every year to compete in the Professional Windsurfing World Cup. Non-sportsmen come here to admire the stunning views of the nearby islets of Prassonissi and Dryonissi.
For nightlife lovers, we recommend Pounda Beach, located in a tourist center with numerous stores, bars, restaurants and swimming pools. There is no shortage of beach parties and bars with music where you can have fun late into the night.
Among Paros’ lesser-known beaches, one of the most beautiful is certainly Logaras, which will enchant you with its fine white sand and calm crystal-clear waters.

Long and wild, the sandy beach of Tsoukalia is rather difficult to reach, which adds to its appeal.
Although very famous, the charming beach of Farangas has retained a wild appearance and is recommended for those who love nature but do not want to be too isolated. It is located about 15 km from Parikia.
On the other hand, the ideal beach for those who do not like the hustle and bustle and are looking for a place to sunbathe or read a book in peace is the wild Glyfa. It is not easy to reach and this discourages many tourists, making it a joy for those who want peace.
Livadia is Parikia’s “town” beach, so close to the center that there is no need to take a car or bus. Separated from the road by a low stone wall, Livadia alternates between equipped and free beach areas, and in some sections a few pine trees offer shelter from the sun.
Framed by a row of palm trees, Agia Irini beach will make you dream of being in the Caribbean. It is reached by a short path: if you love walking, you can continue along the coast of the bay until you reach a quaint little church.
Krios Beach on one thing everyone agrees: it is one of the most spectacular beaches on Paros. Narrow and very long, it is a sandy beach framed by a row of pine trees and washed by a very clear blue sea.
